Happy Anniversary!!

Three years today we had a magical wedding day, married by Mr Poppy Blacks mum at a wee church in Ngatimoti attended by our families.
It was a lovely clear day with a gentle breeze...we had the service at the Church with readings by Mum and PoppyBlack and the compulsory singing...a Christmas carol led by Mum on the recorder.
We all went back to Bannockburn, Mum and Dads place and sat in the garden chatting and having drinks.
The "weasel" (bbq) was cranked up and we dined at wooden trestle tables with crisp white table cloths and pretty pitchers of flowers from the garden. It was a perfect day.
I can't believe we have been married for three years...I never dreamed I would be lucky enough to find such a wonderful best friend and husband..I feel very lucky.

My dear R got beautiful flowers delivered to me at work...they had the right address on them but almost made it into the hands of one of the people in the inpatient unit with the same first name as me...luckily they were intercepted and delivered!!
It was a lovely hot day today, I promised Stellar this morning that I would take her swimming if it was hot ...so we went to the beach and she swam and retrieved sticks and a pinecone and had a lovely time frolicking in the waves.

Yay and congratulations!!!! I can't believe that it has been three whole years since the gorgeous wedding day. Now we get to keep Mr RTS, which is a good thing, cause we love him to bits. Lucky I didn't scare him away the first time he met me! Believe me, a lesser man would have run for his life that day. Would have rung, but we had the neighbours over and I refused to ring late on a work/anniversary night. Love you both, and your brown hound. Wish I had been flounder and starfish studying with her in the sea today. XXX Miss Dog says she was most shocked by an unexpected assault on her rich doggy odour by the hose and shampoo today.

Happy Anniversary to two precious people! We were so pleased to have Mr RTS join the family and an asset he is, too! I had forgotten about the recorder and the Christmas carol - a great eccentric touch which seemed to go well with our family. Love to you both and may 2009 be a great year for you. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
