The Green Room...

The weekend saw beautiful weather and the completion of "Operation Green Room". The green looked pretty mild in the can but on the walls it is certainly green...we both keep looking in there saying "well, it certainly is green". The whole hallway glows green where it radiates out like some kind of radioactive zone. The green itself is very pretty, I love it...just have to get used to it I think. The photo is pretty true to colour. R worked very hard on it and in the end, I didn't lift a finger as he rollered the walls as well as doing all the prep.

Sunday was the most beautiful day, it was very hot. Stellar and I went to the beach with the rest of the Nelson residents and frolicked in the waves. It was another hot day today so I thought, lets go to the beach again. The contrast could not have been greater...it was windy, overcast, the sea was grey and choppy..horrible.

Check out my new ring...bought with my Jewelbeetle voucher I got for Christmas from the lovely R. The three sapphires represent three year of marriage, and the three of us...me, R and Stellar. My hand looks very old and wrinkly in this photo...might have to start moisturising!!

Hi, I think the green looks really pretty - great work Ryan, it was hard to believe it could ever look so good when you were scraping the paper off bit by bit. Wallace Cotton are having a sale - maybe you will find something there to go in the room. xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wow - the green room looks flash. I bet you are pleased to have it done. I always find decorating to be really tedious but I love the result.

It is nice and rainy here this evening. It makes a great change from the scorching weather we have been having. The garden is just slurping it up.

I hope work is ok. Not long now till the weekend!
