Being a greenie...

No problem at all coming up with green things to photograph, in fact I went a bit mad so had to restrain myself from putting too many photos on...possibly may have gone overboard so I apologise if this is a bit boring!!

The first victim is our trusty wood basket...we have a great wood bin inside but this basket carries wood inside for us...thanks you Big Fresh...not sure how or why we have this but Big Fresh supermarkets went out of business (maybe too many people stole their baskets??)...so they won't be missing it!!Meet my two hotties...Stellar the hot water bottle and of course my real hotty, great for a sore back...This ring was my grandmother's...when I was younger I used to think it was the most magnificent thing ever...green and sparkly and unique...I am so glad I have it. It is too big for any of my fingers but one day I will get it resized and wear it...
The brown snout couldn't resist...I got this mascara free off the front of a magazine...I will never look back, it is great!! Love the green bag as well, purchased in Athens.
My fabulous green glass beads purchased for 5 Euro at a market in Nice in France...I LOVE them...the string broke the first time I wore them, shows their age really but they have been restrung and I wear them a lot.
A bundle of wool...lots of strips of cut up jersies all ready to be turned into ragrugs.
My favorite Olga Berg green bag, I use it every day. It is like the black hole inside, I am forever losing things in it and threatening to thrown it away in fury as I dig around in it for lost keys etc...but it really is great.
How scary is the Queen close up...yes, those are a scary set of nashers on the NZ $20 bill...
Some yummy salad we had for tea with our pasta and garlic bread..R is a fabulous cook!!
This is not a great photo but it is of our beloved "vintage look" bread bin...we have a cookie one to match...wish there was some cookies in it!!

So that's green.....

Fabulous green things! I wish you could still buy the Olga Berg bags like our ones. We had wraps filled with spicy stirfried beef strips and salad. Yum. Your salad looks divine. Give Stellar a kiss from me! XXX

I love the ring!!! I haven't seen that before - you should definitely get it resized - it goes great with your bag :-)

Do you know how to make rag rugs? Are they easy or hard?

We had a nice tea too - homemade pizza with some left over potato gratin that we had last night. Yum.

I have realised that I have a few more green things in the form of clothes and jewellery, but I can't be bothered adding anything more now. Will wait for tomorrow's colour
