I haven't blogged for the past couple of days...I managed to hurt my back lugging furniture around at work on Thursday...just a wee twinge Thursday night then real pain Friday and now I am crooked like a dogs hind leg...I lay awake all of last night imagining how terrible it would be if my back was still so sore when we go to USA...it is funny when you have a pain, you just can't imagine how life was like without it.
Anyway, have just crawled out of bed after a wee rest and not as crooked anymore.
There is the yummy smell of curry bubbling away for tea, R's Aunt is here for an unknown quantity of time as his Nana is in hospital...I am not good with unexpected visitors....she arrived unannounced on Friday after work...me, R and Stellar made the mad dash home to tidy the house to a passable standard before she arrived to stay...at least our spare room is nice and I have the lovely Roselicious quilt from Wallace Cotton on it...must get on to the nasty curtains.
Anyway, this incident, and many others have made me realize that life would be so much easier if we kept the house tidier all the time.
Tonight we will watch the rugby, Ireland versus All Blacks...I am hoping it is an exciting game with lots of tried otherwise I get bored. Still reading This Charming Man by Marion Keyes, it is a bit "grittier" than some of her others and is really engrossing..wish I had more time to read.
Tomorrow I will learn how to fancy up my Blog, put in links etc...I will now look for a photo to add as just words look a bit dull.
Love to all my family, lovely to chat to Mum today, it is nice having her and Dad back in the country..looking forward to seeing the holiday snapshotsxxx
Sorry, no photos....having trouble, not sure why?? xxx

Hi Meg,
So sorry to hear about the sore back! You realise how much backs and necks are involved in every movement when they are sore. Curses to unexpected visitors too. You know how I feel about them. You've got a great location for work, but a curse of a location for the bludgers who help themselves to free accomodation.I'd never turn up at someone's house and expect to stay one night without being invited, let alone an indefinite stay. My profound sympathy coming your way. Love you XXXX
